Acrylics and watercolors from the collection of the late Walter Glaser are on display this month at the Cambria Library.
Glaser, a Los Angeles native, was born in 1930 and died in Cambria last December. He served as a staff artist in the U.S. Navy and later earned a master of fine arts degree from Claremont Graduate School.
Glaser did architectural renderings, then was hired to teach perspective to architecture students at Cal Poly, Pomona, where he joined the staff in 1960 and served as department chairman for 11 years.
The Cambria Library at 1043 Main St. is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
