The Dr. Seuss “Hats Off” collection will open at Artifacts Gallery on Saturday, June 27, and remain on view until July 26.
The exhibition features Theodor Seuss Geisel’s personal hat collection and seldom-seen Secret Art Collection, a series of estate-authorized works adapted from Geisel’s original drawings, paintings and sculptures.
Jeff Schuffman, an expert on the Dr. Seuss collection, will be on hand from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 28, to talk about the collection. Artifacts, at 789 Main St., is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
