Mixolydian plans album release party at Painted Sky

Central Coast-based band Mixolydian will perform from 2 to 5 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Painted Sky Studio in Harmony to celebrate the release of its fourth album, “Now and Then.”

The event is free, and the public is invited to attend.

Mixolydian’s music touches on a variety of genres, including rock, folk, jazz, country and Latin. 

Three of the band’s songs are featured in the movie “Paraphobia,” which premiered Oct. 3.

The release party will feature Bob Montano, Ruth Montano, multi-instrumentalist Robert Barr, vocalist Wendy Morrow, and drummers Mark Parson and Christopher Edwards (The Ruckus Band, Tres Mojitos).
