Cambria's Santa Rosa Church offers vacation Bible classes

Santa Rosa Church’s first vacation Bible school will be in session from Monday morning, July 13, through Friday, July 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

The event is open to Cambrians of all faiths in grades K-6 at the Santa Rosa Church parish hall, 1174 Main St., Cambria.

Registrations are accepted now; call the parish office at 927-4816.

Each day’s session will feature a Bible verse from creation related to contemporary living in a Christian context.

Participants will explore hands-on activities and discover scientific wonders linked to the Bible reading. Scientific principles explored are motion, gravity, cause and effect, transformation, chain reaction.

Enrollees will take part in wacky Professor Peter Petri’s demonstrations at the opening assembly each day, then rotate to the science lab, Bible verse truth lab, craft lab, game center and even enjoy a snack related to the day’s Bible verse.

Teachers are volunteers in parish program.
