A Cambria man faces charges for allegedly running away from an accident on April 8.
The collision with a power pole on the east side of Highway 1 just north of Highway 46 left about 3,450 Cambria customers without electricity for about an hour.
California Highway Patrol Officer Luke Hall said a report will be filed soon with the District Attorney’s Office alleging that a 2002 white Chevy pickup owned and driven by Adan Gomez, 35, of Cambria, hit the pole and then Gomez ran from the scene. The CHP also alleges that Gomez was driving while his license was suspended.
