The Cambria Community Services District Board of Directors will meet a week earlier than usual in March so they can attend a special training hosted by the Special District Risk Management Authority, which also provides CCSD’s insurance.
The tentative March 21 agenda includes: Resolution approving interim issuance of intent-to-serve letters; mid-year budget for 2012-2013; amend affordable-housing code sections; prohibit transfers that would result in a parcel having more than one wait-list position; approve operational agreement between CCSD and Cal Fire to consolidate reserve personnel; and discuss outline of steps a project must take to comply with the district’s new “water efficiency” conservation requirements of causing no net increase in water use.
The meeting is set to start at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21, rather than March 28.
Clift, also an SDRMA director, encouraged his CCSD peers to attend the training, not only because the training is helpful but because the district gets credits for attendance by staff and directors, credits that translate into lower insurance rates.
