North Coast Advisory Council is going to hold an August meeting after all, despite an earlier announcement that there would be an August recess.
The meeting is to start as usual, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, in the Rabobank conference room, 1070 Main St.
Among items on the agenda, the council is to consider recommending two minor-use permits, one for a 4,389-squarefoot home on a slope of more than 20 percent on a 340-acre site south of Cambria and west of Highway 1 at 295 Monte Cristo Place, and the second for a 2,768-squarefoot home with 562-square-foot garage at 655 Drake St. Both were unanimously recommended by the council’s Projects/Land Use Committee on Monday, Aug. 6.
The committee had several other projects to consider, but had to delay those reviews until Tuesday, Sept. 4, when the group will meet again to go over land-use issues. The committee hadn’t yet visited those project sites, and some of their paperwork hadn’t arrived in time.
