Tentative topics to include: CDM Smith consultant to run criteria model. Board could evaluate which four or five alternatives for a new water supply should be profiled in federal-and state-level environmental studies. Rough-estimate costs for each project could be released. Among options are: seawater desalination, expanded conservation and recycling programs, local and imported surface water, groundwater, hard-rock drilling and seasonal reservoir storage.
