E lvis impersonator Raymond Michael will appear in Cambria Saturday, June 30, in a benefit performance for the Community Presbyterian Church’s “Youth Hut.”

The show and dinner featuring Elvis’ favorite foods runs from 5 to 9 p.m. at 2250 Yorkshire Drive, Cambria. Tickets, $25, are available at the Cambria Chamber of Commerce, 767 Main St., Cambria.

The Youth Hut has served as a space for a number of community programs over the last 15 years, including the Learning Center after-school program, Boys Scout meetings, 4-H meetings, church youth group meetings, the Sunday School youth program, Family Movie Night and Vacation Bible School every summer.

Plans call for expanding the church outreach program to include a “Kids In Motion” dance class. This summer children 3 to 7 years old will be offered a weekly one-hour dance class — if enough funds are raised to improve the facility. The Elvis event is part of that fundraising effort.

Local Boy Scouts are volunteering their efforts, too, and organizers hope others will as well. — Staff
