The Cambria Community Services District plans to offer a historical review today of options for additional water sources it has studied over the years. The presentation is to be at the Board of Directors’ meeting that starts at 12:30 p.m. today, Oct. 28, at the Veterans Memorial Building, 1000 Main St.
For a couple of decades, the district has studied various alternatives. In 1999, a committee of citizens also reviewed the possibilities.
According to studies done by a number of consultants, including Kennedy/ Jenks in 2004, some alternatives were deemed too costly, to environmentally damaging or unworkable for other reasons.
