This Friday, May 7, the market begins its summer season by extending closing time a half-hour to 5:30 p.m. We hope to kick off the summer with the first cherries of the season. Strawberries and blueberries are nearing seasonal heights. Fresh asparagus remains plentiful and delicious. There are more and more fresh vegetables on stands. In a week or two we will have apricots.
