‘Art in the Pines’ opens at gallery

P ublic is invited to a free reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 9, to launch “Art in the Pines,” a new juried show presented at the Allied Arts Gallery at the Old Grammar School, 1350 Main St., Cambria.

The show will feature a variety of artists and highlight the work of Kristopher Doe, who served as juror for the show and has more than 25 years experience as a successful

painter and illustrator. Doe, now a resident of San Luis Obispo, has taught throughout California at both public and private educational institutions.

After the opening on Friday, April 9, the show will continue throughout the month. Gallery hours are 1 to 9 p.m. Fridays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays.
