Throughout July, anyone adopting one kitten from the Homeless Animal Rescue Team can receive 25 percent off the adoption fee for a second kitten.
The adoption package includes a kitten that has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested, and treated to protect it from fleas. Of the 30 kittens ready for their new homes, 12 were from two feral Cambria cats, who have since been spayed. The kittens have been socialized so they are ready for adoption.
HART’s volunteers work hard at their “Trap, Neuter and Return” program to keep the community cats spayed and neutered.
The kittens are available for adoption at the shelter, 2638 Main St., from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Visitors can play with the cats and kittens. More information and cat/kitten photos can be seen online at www.slohart.org, or on Facebook as SLOHART. Or, you can call the office at 927-7377.
