New kindergarten and transitional kindergarten students who plan to start in the fall semester can register from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 21 at the Cambria Grammar School office.
Children who will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 are eligible to enter kindergarten, and those who will be 5 between Sept. 2 and Dec. 2 are eligible to enter transitional kindergarten.
Parents registering a child are asked to provide the following:
▪ County birth certificate (proof of legal name and age).

▪ Immunization records.
▪ Proof of address (utility/electric bill).
An informational meeting for parents will be at 5:30 p.m. March 14 at the Grammar School. The meeting, for adults, will be presented in English and Spanish. Registration packets will be available to be picked up at the meeting and March 15-16 at the Grammar School office.
Registration packets should be picked up before registration day.
Parents enrolled in transitional kindergarten are welcome to attend the meeting but do not need to register for kindergarten at this time.
Bronco Boosters plan drawing
The Coast Union High School Bronco Boosters will hold their annual reverse drawing Saturday, March 3, at the Cambria Veterans Memorial Building.
Tickets are $125 each and include a gourmet dinner from Linn’s Restaurant, along with a chance to win a $5,000 grand prize.
All proceeds from the reverse drawing benefit educational and athletic programs at Coast Union High School.
