Good News about Atascadero Brownie Troop 40026 and St. Barnabas Thrift Shop

Atascadero

Atascadero Brownie Troop 40026 recently donated packets of items to help calm children who are at the Twin Cities Community Hospital emergency room.

Using a portion of the funds raised through Girl Scout cookie sales, the troop made gift bags that included toys, games, coloring books and stuffed animals.

Arroyo Grande

St. Barnabas Thrift Shop recently donated $1,246 to the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County.

The Food Bank is one of 12 monthly recipients of the thrift shop’s community outreach program.

Located in Arroyo Grande, the shop is an outreach ministry of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and is fully staffed by volunteers.
