Good News about Ethan Diesta, Taryn Weller and local 4-H and FAA scholarship recipients

SLO County

The California Women for Agriculture San Luis Obispo County chapter recently gave scholarships to 21 4-H and FFA livestock projects at the California Mid-State Fair.

The scholarships recipients include:

▪ Beef scholarship – Mikaela Jensen;

▪ Poultry scholarship – Hope Fardanesh;

▪ Swine scholarships – Sydney Pruit, Blake Fardanesh, Delaney Dusi, Briana Castorena, Luis Castorena, Sarafina Treder, Sage Anne Plaskett, Sarah Kier, Rori Degeer, Rylie Degeer, Cristal Muniz, Kendall Ruggles, Chloe Stilits and Katlyn Ogle;

▪ Sheep scholarships – Bella Marden, Lindsey English, Lauryn English, Sydney McGovern and Chelsea Stilits.

Supporting local youth involved in agriculture and is part of CWA’s mission to promote and protect the agricultural industry.
