SLO County

Recently retired San Luis Obispo County Deputy District Attorney David Pomeroy has been named the newest recipient of the California District Attorney Association’s John J. Meehan Career Achievement Award. The award was presented during the annual awards banquet at the CDAA Summer Conference in San Diego.

In his 37-year career, Pomeroy successfully prosecuted many high-profile cases in San Luis Obispo County.

The respect and admiration he has earned is reflected in the nomination endorsements from local members of the criminal justice system and letters of support from victims and the Anti-Defamation League of Los Angeles.

“There is no doubt that San Luis Obispo County is safer today, because of the hard work of Dave Pomeroy, than it would have been without his dedication,” said District Attorney, Dan Dow.
