Fire crews Friday night contained a grass fire that scorched 100 acres of land northwest of Camp Roberts.
The blaze was reported about 3:25 p.m. and started around a dry Lake Antonio riverbed west of Highway 101 near Bradley, according to Cal Fire.
Crews from Monterey and San Luis Obispo counties responded with engines, bulldozers, air tankers and a helicopter. Windy conditions and the area’s rugged terrain made containing the fire more difficult, Cal Fire spokesman Jonathan Pangburn said.
“There was a little bit of an access problem that contributed to the fire growth,” he said.

Crews were able to contain it within a few hours, Pangburn said.
One lane of Highway 101 was closed to traffic Friday night, but Pangburn said it has since been reopened.
