Back-to-back crashes on southbound Highway 101 near the Cuesta Grade summit stalled traffic Friday night, according to the CHP.
The CHP was notified of a two-vehicle collision at 9:16 p.m., followed by a second, single-car wreck just two minutes later, according to the CHP’s incident information page.
All three lanes were reported blocked at 9:24 p.m.; but lanes began to reopen at 9:37 p.m., according to the incident information page.
Three tow trucks were dispatched to the scene, according to CHP dispatch.

The roadway was cleared and traffic was moving freely by 11 p.m., according to Caltrans.
