A winning lottery ticket with a prize of more than $34,000 was sold at an Oceano gas station, according to the California Lottery website.

The SuperLotto Plus ticket matched five of five numbers in the Wednesday night drawing, but it missed the final “mega” number, which would have made the ticket worth $10 million.

The ticket was purchased at Oceano Market & Gas at 1711 Front St. The winning prize amount was $34,272.

Winning numbers in Wednesday’s SuperLotto Plus drawing were 6, 12, 26, 28, 33, and the “mega” number was 24.

The Oceano-bought ticket was the only one to match five numbers of about 94,000 winning SuperLotto Plus tickets across all prize amounts.

The person who purchased the ticket has not been publicly identified. In California, lottery winners’ names are public record, according to the California Lottery website.

SuperLotto Plus winners have 180 days from the time of the drawing to claim their prizes.

Overall odds of winning any prize in SuperLotto Plus are about 1 in 23, and the odds of winning the jackpot is about 1 in 42 million, according to the California Lottery website.
