A charity event to benefit the Prado Day Center for the homeless will be held Wednesday at the Blast 825 Taproom located at 733 Higuera St. in San Luis Obispo, from

6 p.m. to midnight.

The event will be hosted by Blast 825 Taproom and MindBody.

Those in attendance are encouraged to dress in their favorite ’70s-themed attire and dance to music from the era, which will be played under a

mirrored disco ball.

The taproom’s new house craft beer, Joe Blast Blond, will be served in honor of its founder and discounted to $4 per pint.

A dollar of every Joe Blast Blonde pint sold will be matched by MindBody and proceeds will be donated to the Prado Day Center.

The restaurant also offers custom wood-fired pizza and a selection of about 40 local craft beer and wine.

Limited edition Joe Blast Blonde beer T-shirts will be given to the first 50 people to arrive in 1970s-themed clothing.

A grand prize will be given to the person who looks most like Joe Blast.
