U.S. Rep. Lois Capps is hosting a free breakfast for veterans at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Veterans Memorial Building in San Luis Obispo; all veterans are invited.

A variety of veterans support organizations will be onsite to provide information about their services and explain how veterans can get access to them. Capps and her staff will be available to meet with veterans who need assistance receiving benefits from the federal government, such as help with the Veterans Administration or the Social Security Administration.

RSVP is requested, but not required. Call 546-8348, ext. 10. The Veterans Memorial Building is at 801 Grand Ave.
