Erica Inderlied has been named the new Pismo Beach city clerk.
Inderlied has been serving as interim City Clerk since April, when former clerk Elaina Cano left to become assistant county clerk-recorder for San Luis Obispo County.
Inderlied, who will be paid $77,521 plus benefits, began working for the city of Pismo Beach in November 2014, taking notes for several city commissions. She previously worked for the city of Placerville for five years in its Community Development Department.
City Manager Jim Lewis appointed Inderlied and praised her for her “focus, attention to detail, and a passion for procedures and accuracy” in the office.
