A fire Saturday afternoon at a single-family home, secondary residence and an RV at 1827 Park St. in Paso Robles caused an estimated $75,000 in damage, according to a city press release.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. When firefighters responded to the fire at 2:46 p.m. Saturday, they arrived to find the secondary unit behind the main home engulfed in flames, with the fire spreading to the nearby RV, the release said.
The second residence and RV sustained the most damage. Firefighters contained the fire in 19 minutes, limiting heat and smoke damage to the main home. They established full control at 3:57 p.m.
No residents were home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries, but firefighters rescued two dogs from the main home.
