UPDATE 4 p.m.: Kenneth Vernon LaBarr has been found safe in Bullhead City, Arizona, according to the Grover Beach Police Department.

Original story: The Grover Beach Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a resident who was expected back in town from a four-day road trip April 12 and has not been seen since.

Police are trying to locate Kenneth Vernon LeBarr, 50, of Grover Beach, after he left the city April 8 to drive to Reno, Nev.

He reportedly last spoke to his family the same day, saying he reached his destination.

He was expected to return April 12.

LaBarr is described as a white man approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 185 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen driving his 1998 Nissan Frontier pickup truck with California license plate 5T73732.
