North County residents may have felt a small earthquake at 2:28 p.m. Sunday, according to earthquaketrack.com.
A 3.3-magnitude quake struck 9 miles northwest of Templeton and was 3 miles deep.
Earthquakes of 3 to 3.9 magnitude are considered minor (and those under 2.5 are not even felt), according to geology website UP Seis.
In comparison, the 2003 San Simeon Earthquake, which killed two people in Paso Robles, caused widespread damage.
