Paso Robles asks residents what they want in a city manager

Paso Robles officials are seeking input from local citizens on traits and characteristics they would like to see in their next city manager to succeed Jim App, who plans to retire Dec. 30.

App announced in February his plans to retire after 18 years as city manager. He also previously worked as assistant city manager and personnel analyst. App said he announced early to give the city time to replace him.

Suggestions can be submitted online at www.prcity.com/CMSearch or by mail to: City Clerk, Paso Robles, 1000 Spring St., Paso Robles CA 93446. All of the comments received will be sent to the City Council as well.

Anyone with questions should call the city manager’s office at 237-3888.
