Women of Distinction Awards to celebrate 4 local women

Four local women will be honored Thursday for their professional and civic contributions to the community at the 38th Women of Distinction Awards.

The honorees include Jill Bolster-White, executive director of Transitions-Mental Health Association; Elizabeth “Biz” Steinberg, CEO of the Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County; Grenda Ernst, a retired Atascadero State Hospital clinical administrator and past president of Friends of the Atascadero Library; and Lisa Ray, founder and chief executive officer of the Children’s Resource Network of the Central Coast.

The event, hosted by Cuesta College and the Community Foundation of San Luis Obispo County’s Women’s Legacy Fund, will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at Cuesta’s San Luis Obispo campus in Building 5400, Room 5401, according to a news release.
