Police have arrested a 28-year-old Paso Robles man in connection with a shooting in San Miguel on Friday that injured one person.
San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office officials say an unidentified man called 911 from a mobile home park on the 700 block of River Road in San Miguel at about 2:30 p.m. Friday for a single gunshot wound to the leg.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. The victim's name is not being released at this time.
Jorge Alejandro Reyes, 28, was taken into custody Sunday in connection with the incident, and he was booked into County Jail on charges of assault with a firearm on a person, robbery, kidnapping, felony threatening a crime with intent to terrorize, and preventing a witness or victim to report a crime.
Reyes was still in custody as of 3:30 p.m. Sunday, with bail set at $100,000.
