Grover Beach officials are inviting local artists to display their work during the city’s annual 9/11 memorial ceremony.
The artwork should commemorate the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks or celebrate the themes of patriotism or the American spirit, according to a news release. The deadline to submit artwork is Sept. 8.
The public can view the artwork for free on Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. through the memorial ceremony scheduled for 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
All events will be held at the Ramona Garden Park Center, 993 Ramona Ave. in Grover Beach.
