The Ravine Waterpark in Paso Robles hosted its fourth annual Ravine Regatta on Saturday, inviting nine teams of two to three people each to build “seaworthy” crafts out of cardboard and duct tape and race across the park’s wave pool.

Prizes were handed out for best design, fastest boat and most spectacular sinking.

Team Tank was named the fastest boat, while the award for best design went to Team Speedy. The last award, for most spectacular sinking, went to Team My Little Pony, the father-daughter team of Tim Kelley and Kendall, 10, of Camarillo.
