A woman was rescued from a cliff south of Avila Beach on Sunday, Cal Fire said.
The woman, described as in her 20s, reportedly got stuck on a cliff south of the beach town and had to be rescued shortly before 7 p.m., Cal Fire said.
Cal Fire officials climbed down to the woman and helped her into a rescue boat that waited in the water below.
In addition to Cal Fire, CHP, the Coast Guard and Port San Luis Harbor Patrol were on hand for the rescue.

According to Cal Fire, the woman was taken from the boat to a waiting ambulance, where her condition was evaluated.
It is unknown why the woman got stuck on the rocks or what she was doing in the area before the rescue.
