As part of the city of San Luis Obispo’s “wayfinding” sign project, nine sample signs were recently installed in the downtown area.

Two pedestrian signs at Palm and Morro streets and seven traffic signs at various prime locations downtown, including Marsh and Santa Rosa streets, will be displayed for six weeks. Those signs will be evaluated for design, fabrication details, placement and readability before they are permanently installed.

The first installation project is planned for spring of 2015. Feedback on the signs is encouraged. To comment, email bfraser@slocity.org.
