Firefighter candidates vying for spots at the Templeton Fire Department used Twin Cities Community Hospital’s campus for agility testing Saturday morning.
The physical test followed a written test for 18 to 20 people hoping to become paid firefighters with the department. Last week, fire Capt. Brandon Wall said officials weren’t sure how many new people the department plans to take on.
The agility course tested candidates on their ability to climb, hoist equipment, carry tools and drag a dummy victim, among other tasks.
