Fire burns vacant house in Paso Robles

Paso Robles fire officials are investigating the cause of a blaze that burned through the roof of a vacant house Tuesday morning.

Firefighters were notified of a residential structure fire at 812 Experimental Station Road in Paso Robles at 7:20 a.m., according to a news release. Upon arriving, they found a vacant house with the roof on fire.

The fire was contained by 7:47 a.m. No other structures were damaged and no injuries reported.

Officials say the house was vacant and in the process of being demolished at the time of the fire.

The cause is under investigation.
