Man on motorcycle crashes in San Luis Obispo

Update: The motorcyclist, whose name has still not been released, was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center with what appeared to be a broken leg, said CHP Sgt. Danny Koetsier.

The motorcyclist was driving northbound on Foothill Boulevard behind a small passenger car through a construction zone that was reduced to one lane at the time.

Koetsier said that the passenger vehicle slowed and the motorcyclist collided into the back of the car. He was the only person on the motorcycle and was wearing his helmet, Koetsler said.

Original story: A motorcyclist has crashed at 740 Foothill Boulevard in San Luis Obispo.
