Motorists can expect delays of up to 20 minutes weekdays on Highway 1 north of Cambria to the Monterey County line starting Monday and continuing through October, Caltrans announced Friday.
Crews will lay a seal coat on the pavement along the 23-mile stretch starting at Weymouth Street in Cambria. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
CalPortland Construction Inc., of Santa Maria is the contractor for the $1.9 million project.
