Motorists should expect brief road closures and traffic delays for about three to four weeks as crews repave San Fernando Road on Atascadero’s west side.
San Fernando Road is being repaved from Graves Creek to approximately 500 feet east of Balboa Road, according to the city.
The work, which started Monday, will require periodic lane closures and minor traffic delays. The roughly $422,220 contract was awarded to CalPortland Construction in Paso Robles.
The project includes minor drainage and road shoulder improvements, paving to help reduce future road surface cracking and a final asphalt overlay, according to the city.
