Paso Robles firefighters quickly contained two small wildfires Thursday evening.
A brush fire covering approximately a half an acre and a spot fire were reported at 6:35 p.m. in the 1700 block of Miller Court. Twelve Paso Robles and state firefighters, including a battalion chief, responded.
Both blazes were declared controlled in 30 minutes in spite of very difficult access. No homes were threatened. The cause of the fires is under investigation.
