Orange County punk rock band The Offspring is coming to Avila Beach in October.

The punk rockers first found mainstream fame in 1994 with the multi-platinum-selling album “Smash,” scoring widespread radio play with the hit singles “Come Out and Play (Keep ‘Em Separated),” “Self Esteem” and “Gotta Get Away.”

The Offspring cemented that success with the release of 1998’s “Americana,” feauring the songs “Pretty Fly (for a White Guy),” “Why Don’t You Get a Job” and “The Kids Aren’t Alright.”

The band is currently touring in support of its ninth studio album, “Days Go Bay,” which hit store shelves in June.

The Offspring performs Oct. 3 at the Avila Beach Golf Resort with special guests Neon Trees and Dead Sara. Tickets for the all-ages show are $35, and can be purchased via Vallitix at (888) 825-5484 or www.vallitix.com.
