Susan Devine, who managed the election and reelection of county Supervisor Adam Hill and has served as his legislative assistant for the past four years, has retired, Hill announced.
Hannah Miller, who works as a paralegal for Carmel & Naccasha law firm, will replace Devine on Sept. 15.
Hill called Devine “the kindest and most resourceful person I know. In my time in public life, all of my successes and none of my mistakes can be attributed to her guidance and good advice. She is also a great friend.”
Miller has worked for City Attorney Tim Carmel in Arroyo Grande, where she also has been deputy city clerk.
