The searing heat in much of inland San Luis Obispo County won’t abate any time soon — at least not until early next week for most of the North County.
Skies will be sunny today, with highs from the mid-60s to lower 70s on the coast and 96 to 109 inland. Much the same conditions are predicted for Friday, with only a slight cooling over the weekend.
“Very little relief is expected this week, and the warm temperatures will likely last into the weekend before cooling early next week,” according to the National Weather Service.
For the rest of the week, Paso Robles should hit a peak of 107 degrees Saturday, and Atascadero is expected to peak today at 103.
