Motorists traveling through Atascadero should expect a full closure of the Highway 101 southbound on-ramp at Santa Rosa Road beginning Thursday.
The southbound Highway 101 on- and off- ramps at Santa Rosa Road will be closed day and night for three weeks while Caltrans continues to repave the highway. The northbound on-ramp at Santa Rosa Road will also be closed for the same period.
The work is another phase in the $25.3 million Highway 101 Atascadero Rehabilitation Project that began in March 2011.
The larger project, expected to be complete in early 2013, includes 11 miles of highway resurfacing from the Cuesta Grade to Traffic Way, various bridge widening work and other road improvements.
