A film and panel discussion will be held Tuesday evening in Arroyo Grande on the topic of homelessness in the community.
Hosted by the 5Cities Homeless Coalition and District 4 Supervisor Paul Teixeira, the free event will also provide more information about the local nonprofit’s efforts to increase resources for homeless people in southern San Luis Obispo County.
The event will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 301 Trinity Ave. in Arroyo Grande.
The forum will start with a short documentary, “Homeless Not Hopeless (In The Happiest Place in America),” exploring homelessness in San Luis Obispo County, followed by a panel discussion about challenges facing the community and possible steps that could be taken to address them.
