A downtown San Luis Obispo camera shop was burglarized early Thursday and $20,000 worth of camera equipment was stolen, according to the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
The stolen equipment from Jim’s Campus Camera, 770 Higuera St., was primarily Canon brand digital cameras, camera bodies, and lenses, police said.
Police responded to the shop at 5:15 a.m., and continue to investigate.
