Three World War II-era airplanes arrived at San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport on Wednesday as part of the Wings of Freedom Tour that honors veterans of that conflict.
A B-17 Flying Fortress, a B-24 Liberator and a P-51 Mustang will be on display through midday Friday.
The B-17 and B-24 were the main bombers used by U.S. air forces during the war, while the P-51 was a fighter that protected the bombers from enemy attack.
Tours around and inside the aircraft will be given. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children younger than 12. World War II veterans can tour for free.
The planes will be open for visitors from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday.
