UPDATE: It is proving a challenge to find much identifying information on Brooks, a sheriff's spokesman said today.
According to Cmdr. Aaron Nix, the situation is “unusual. We’re having a really difficult time in finding information on him. He didn’t have a driver’s license or any other identifying information on him.”
The man’s name and Cambria residence were gleaned through information connected with his Mercedes. In addition, the Sheriff/Coroner’ Office hasn’t completed its autopsy, said Nix.
