Saturday is the big day at Mission San Miguel Parish Center.
The center has been closed since January to redo the floors, and it will be reopened. Come and celebrate with bingo. Doors open at 10 a.m., with games beginning at 12:30 p.m. Regular Bingo begins at 2 p.m. Dinner is $2.50, with complementary coffee and cookies. Prizes and surprises are planned. All proceeds benefit the Parish Hall Building Fund.
Recently, the Busy Bees presented Pastor Fr. Ray Tintle with a check for $15,000 from last year’s fundraising efforts. You can get a lot done with bake sales and bingo.
The San Miguel Chamber Development Group is accepting charter memberships through the end of February. There are more than 34 members thus far with a lot of enthusiasm for the future of the Chamber and the town.

Good news. Steve Mahr from Community Health Centers of the Central Coast announced that the Community Health Center in San Miguel will reopen April 2.
Last year, it was closed for renovations. But when it didn’t reopen in a few months, many thought it was gone for good. Now all facility updates have been completed. Physician’s Assistant Jennifer Holohan, PA-C, will provide primary services Mondays and Wednesdays. Marcelo Almaguer will provide health education counseling. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; closed for lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. CHC is open to all.
