Fire destroys mobile home in Creston; resident left homeless

One person was displaced by a fire in a double-wide mobile home in Creston on Wednesday morning, according to Cal Fire.

Firefighters learned of the $100,000 blaze in the 4200 block of Hord Valley Road at 10:35 a.m. and had it contained a half-hour later.

Nobody was hurt. One resident was displaced, and officials contacted the Red Cross to help.

The cause remains under investigation. Fifteen firefighters battled the blaze.
