Nearly two months of work on sidewalks in the East Village area of Cambria is set to begin Monday, the county Department of Public Works has announced.
Crews will be putting in sidewalk ramps at 11 locations to make them more accessible to people with disabilities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Work is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays.
Foster Enterprises of San Luis Obispo has a $65,000 contract to do the work, which is expected to be complete by the end of April, weather permitting.
